Emily Salgado
Emily Salgado is an undergraduate student majoring in Integrative and Practice Focused Medicine and Spanish, with a minor in Emergency Medicine. She was born and raised in Tucson, to which she credits her nature and environment-loving personality. Her specific passions in environmental science include waste and pollution mitigation. Emily is interning with Dr. Ramírez-Andreotta’s Integrated Environmental Science & Health Risks lab through the Earth Grant program and is excited to incorporate her interests in health, science, and sustainability into the internship. In the future, Emily hopes to higher her education in healthcare through medical school all while continuing to incorporate sustainable practices and precautions into her life and her work.
